BRIDGE HOUSE HOTEL — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

today, February 4, 2025, around 2:30 p.m. we checked into this hotel. The lady who gave us the room was very nice and she is always very competent in this hotel. Around 6:40 p.m. another lady comes and disturbs our peace, ordering us to leave the room now, explaining that she gave the room to someone else... We emphasize that this is the second time we have had a problem with the same lady... She is not suitable for this job. work... She knocked on the door a dozen times and told us that we had to leave the room now, which had been paid for and assigned to us at that time... we were already in our pajamas and falling asleep... people, this is not normal... We like this one very much hotel because we sleep here every week and apart from this one lady with whom there is a problem for the second time, it would be really fine. She disturbed our peace and later explained that there was a system error. Such things are first checked thoroughly and only then intervened... My husband and I are very disappointed with the behavior of this incompetent lady, who in our opinion is not up to the job. To sum up: Apart from the incompetent service of the receptionist who disturbed our peace for the second time, we are really very pleased with this hotel :) :) The service from other ladies is really always at a high level and the hotel is ok... :) for this price you can't complain :) Let us also add that the lady who treated us this way did not even...

This was unquestionably the most awful hotel I have ever stayed in. If I stayed at a friend or family's home and was offered a room like these, I would be appalled. That this was a paid for facility... dreadful.

Needless to say I walked out within the hour, as the second room I was presented with was barely an improvement on the first.

Booked the Ramada on the M25, 15 mins away, for similar money but 500% better.

Damp, mould, dirty, tattered...this place had the air of somewhere people would stagger into, drunk and oblivious to the surroundings. Given the state of the rooms, this is probably what happened prior to my arrival.

To top it off, their customer service email does not work so there's no means to contact them. And Agoda- through which I booked this horror- was useless. As a result, I have not received a refund.

Book a room here at your own peril. Or do yourself a favour...

Last time I book somewhere without reading the reviews! 20 mins wait to checkin - we can live with. Wasn’t advised that the restaurant was closed for the evening due to a private party so ordered Uber eats…again, can live with. Room was a decent size and thankfully far from the wedding party going on. However the floor and everything about it was on a slant, everything other than the furniture was pretty disgusting and in need of serious decorating. There were damp patches on most of the walls. Thankfully we just needed somewhere to sleep after a night out and so not the end of the world. What I didn’t appreciate was someone entering our room at 3.30am, switching on all our lights and giving us an absolute fright!! No real apology or explanation as to how this can happen given codes are supplied new daily but I can happily state I will never be returning to the...
