The Grape Variety (Chipstead) — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

Myself and five friends made up a team at this Cosy Wine Bars Quiz/Trivia night yesterday... At only a suggested donation of £5 for a local charity we thought "Why not" We had an absolutely fantastic evening (even though we didn't win!) The Quiz was really good and had something for everyone.. The Quiz Master Adrian was very entertaining and the tempo was just right, plenty of time to drink wines from all over the world, beers, soft drinks and order from the delicious menu.. I'd definitely recommend this place for a date night or group of friends evening and parking is free outside alongside the nearby 166 bus and Chipstead Railway Station..I believe Pizza Project are there on Thursdays, so another excuse...

The Grape Variety are a local wine bar that since lockdown have really proved why it’s so important to shop local. Their extensive knowledge and willingness to help with all wine requests is something that you wouldn’t get at the big wine companies. You never feel like you are asking too much and they are always happy to help, also a big bonus is how easy it is to get into contact with them. If you ever need a top up of your wine cupboard I can 100% recommend getting into contact with them instead of going to your local supermarket! Thanks Grape for helping the whole community and ensuring no one is ever out of stock for wine and gin! I can’t wait to hopefully...

As we went into lockdown the Wine Society stopped their delivery service, we desperately needed a replacement that offered some more interesting options than the standard supermarket fare. Fortunately we found one right on our doorstep. Have made several orders and found the wines all to be excellent quality and good value for money. Not had a dud bottle yet. Delivery is always very prompt. Wine Society might be open again, but don't feel the need to go back when we have such a good...
