Love this gem of a place . Doesn't matter if you are going for a quick tea/coffee, light bite or a meal - with excellent service & the nicest staff ever, & where the food is always fabulous, fresh & utterly delicious this is the place to go. Sitting by the river is so calming & adds to the delightful ambience when visiting . As does a wander round the garden shop where there are always new & things waiting to tempt visitors with some real bargains too. The cafe isn't the cheapest place to go but it is very competitively priced & everything I have ever eaten / drunk there has been fresh & top quality & yet again I feel I should mention the excellent staff & service here since they really do make all the difference. Hats off to them all 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This really is my favourite place to catch up with friends & family - especially when they even cater for fur babies too - my daughter's dog Stellar loves the...

This is a lovely cafe within the garden centre. Need to get there early or be lucky with timing if you're wanting to sit on the terrace outside overlooking the river. Which is just a very lovely view and so nice to just sit, eat and take in the sounds of the river. If not, you'll find yourself inside and then it's just another nice café.

The food is very nice, we've only had breakfast and it's that good we've returned a fair few times and shall do in the future.

The service is good but due to how popular it is and how busy they get, there's normally a wait for food but the staff are very pleasant.

Unless things have changed, dogs are welcome but only outside on the terrace. However, as I mentioned you need to get there early or be lucky for space to come...

What a gem this place is! The garden centre is well stocked and well looked after, but the cafe is on another level!!! They offer really good cafe and good selection, the service is friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the atmosphere is a wow! You can sit on a table directly overlooking the beautiful river and breathtaking woodland landscapes on the other side. There is alot of greenery and flower decorations between the different sitting areas. Variety of sitting choices. Very relaxed, informal, pretty, homely and friendly vibe. Although it was quite busy, drinks arrived almost immediately and food followed shorty after, hot and tasty. Loved every minute there, will...

Overpriced and ridiculous portions! 2 of us went for lunch on a Monday. Both had the Pie of the Day (Chicken and Leak) and a coke each. £14.95 for the meal each, £3.50 for a bottle of coke. That would be fair if the food was as worth it, there was a tiny portion of pie, a few chips, like warm pot of watery gravy and a bit of veg! Pie and chips should be filling. It wasn’t for either of us and not worth it. This place was once great, I understand the cost of products etc but when you spend £20 on lunch and a drink…… it should be a fair portion. It wasn’t. A shame as I like this place but won’t be going back.

We went in for brunch as it was recomended by friends, lovely place hidden at the garden center, food is delicious and good size, fast serving, staff was 5 stars, friendly, attentive without intruding, only thing negative was, there was a family group there making too much noise which killed the lovely atmosphere the place has. Cosy fireplace and all in the room. The balcony has extra tables and a lovely view to the river where you can enjoy the sound of water passing on the rocks, really relaxing.
