Baguettes the Sandwich Company — Restaurant in Rochdale

Love the food from here, but today was the first time I have come into the shop my self (we normally order). Obviously with new rules in place everyone is abit confused of how to do things. But I have not had to wear a mask in any food places before (just to comment not even all the staff members in the shop had masks on) I was waiting inside for about 3 minutes before I came to order nothing was said. Then as I come to the counter the women with pinkish hair was so arrogant and rude. Saying I would not be served with no mask, I asked if I could order and come back she said no I had to buy one to order my food. Then I wanted to pay on cars because my card was not contactless she just rolled her eyes and passed me the machine then wouldn’t take it back. I never normally even take my time to right a review but it literally made my blood boil. If I am to come back here but pretty sure I won’t and she speaks to me like that again my latte will be going on her Face! Tell the sour...

This place has gone downhill. it's all different staff since I was last in there and the food is now absolutely rubbish. I've been twice now in the last month and both times were a mistake and a costly mistake at that. The food is bang average and the meat is as cheep as you can get, not the quality butty it used to be. A few of the girls were nice but the woman that seems to be the manager/new owner is in a world of her own and has no time for the customer and is just shouting absolute rubbish across the shop to her friends cooking. Last time she forgot what I asked for twice and then still wrote it down wrong and I had to wait for 1 of the buttys to be remade, while the ones in my bag were going cold, I was 1 of 2 customers and was in the shop for 25 mins and I only asked for basic buttys and they wasn't running round making loads of other orders or i could have understood. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend anyone else...

The food is delicious and fresh, you can clearly see everything being made in front of you. The Staff are friendly, polite and are focused on the job but they do get very busy at times and that can only be a compliment to how good their food and service is. Parking is pretty limited though as there is a bus stop directly outside and there is a step up to walk in so limited wheelchair access too. There are 2 sets of tables out side and a few inside,to be fair it's more a takeaway then eat in but thats not to say people dont eat in. I've waited both inside and outside before. In my opinion it's the best in the area! The menu has a good variety...
