The food is absolutely amazing and was really worth the money. Canāt fault the chef at all as the food was exquisite. Would be much better if the customer service matched up to the standards of the food. One waitress was really nice to begin with but when asking about child portions her whole attitude changed and made us all feel uncomfortable even though this is expected when going for food as a family. Another waitress just put the food on one corner of the table instead of walking round the table and giving each person their food and leaning over me - also while doing this put the hot plates next to my 2 year old daughter who almost burnt her hand trying to grab the plates multiple times. Out of all the 3 waitresses not one came over to check on us or even acknowledge me when trying to get their attention so I had to go to the front desk and ask for the bill and for a take out box. Didnāt realise they also add their own tip to the bill without warning us when Iād added extra to the price too as a tip which I wish I didnāt now due to the shocking customer service. I HOPE the tip goes to the chef and not the waitress staff because they are appalling. Overall excellent food but terrible service so please think...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStrangest lunch ever. Initially asked to move from our table for 2, to join another couple sitting at a table for 6, because two ladies who came in didnāt want to share a table, so my friend and I kindly obliged and moved. It took a while to get served but didnāt mind at all. Food was lovely and we paid compliments. Then, while literally still eating our meal, we were asked to move again, this time to a small table, to accommodate more walk-ins. Reluctantly we agreed, but could we finish eating? Because we werenāt happy, or perhaps because we didnāt immediately jump out of our seats, owner was rude and called us unco-operative! So when we questioned the attitude we were told to leave and never return. Like weād ever want to go back dear. On the plus side, at 60 years old, albeit stone cold sober, I can finally say Iāve been thrown out and barred from somewhere, so my friend and I ended up laughing all the way home š Basil Fawlty fans might appreciate musical chairs and questionable behaviour, I just...
Read moreI've always walked past this place, never been in. So, kids were back in school and I decided to treat myself. Was easy to find a table wasn't that busy in the mornings. Service is pretty slow. Must have 10-15mins till I was approached to take my order. I opted for the large veggie breakfast and also ordered a Latte. Bit of wait again. latte came first then my breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. Really lovely, delicious breakfast. Everything on there had its own taste and flavoured well. Not a massive fan of asparagus but, I ate it, it tasted nice and buttery. I had 2 big pieces of bread I couldn't finish. (I took them with me on my walk back home) Overall, I wasn't expecting the £5 service charge, it turned out to be an expensive breakfast lol. Couldn't fault the taste. The scenery is nice if the sun is shining with the doors at the front of the cafe opened, which it...
