We could have sworn this was a "Cantonese" Restaurant. What an utter disappointment as we have eaten here in the past when it was run by the original "older couple" who we have acknowledged many times in COSTCO whilst shopping. They were not there ... and left the kitchen to be run by youngsters who have a completely different menu to what we were accustom to ... and so ignorant when my partner complained "I just tell the kitchen" is not a response to the utter disgrace of a Special Chow Mein which was like soup served on the smallest plate available. The Spare Ribs we noticed two ladies next to us were served traditional spare ribs whilst we had the "knuckle ends". We took some home for the dog who turned her nose up. The red sauce is still on our fingers a day later. Very very sorry youngsters, this is no longer our choice of venue. £65 cost was irrelevant in this review. Hopefully we will see the "old couple" in COSTCO again one day but we will have to find another...
Read moreFirst time trying here. It's was alright as chinese restaurants go. Wasn't the cheapest but where is these days.
Mixed starter x3 - was all very nice, me personally just didn't like the spring roll.
Egg fried rice - standard egg fried rice.
Chicken fried rice - again standard but with a fair bit of chicken in there.
Crispy beef in OK sauce - really tasty and meat not chewwy like some places.
Vermicelli singapore - very nice, usually a spicy dish but this was not too spicy.
Curry sauce - nice Chinese curry sauce.
Salt and pepper chips - these was tasty but was a let down with them being frozen chips rather than the usual chippy chips you get from a Chinese, wouldn't of eaten them if they was plain.
Nice small place but was very hot and the air con didn't work, they had a tower fan but didn't have in on, also the speaker was crackly, need to upgrade them as crackling music doesn't sound nice.
Overall experience was good, we will return again...
Read moreOrdered through uber eats and delivery time was suspiciously quick, ordered salt and pepper spare ribs and crispy duck with orange sauce. Salt and pepper ribs are absolutely tiny, barely any meat and no flavour other than the heaps of garlic used we only got 4 tiny bite sized ribs for £10.50 I feel it should 100% be mentioned if the ribs are small as I expected full size ribs which would have reflected the price unlike these which would have left the borrowers still hungry. The duck with orange sauce well it’s absolutely rancid, poorly packaged so it leaked all over the bag and packaging and the sauce was cold and thick and gloopy. The duck itself was soggy and tasted absolutely awful highly disappointed is an understatement will never ever...
