We went for a meal my dads birthday and the food was ok at best. The burger bun was stale and plain, my mother in laws pie came with gravy on it even though the menu didnt say so and then when she asked for a pie without gravy the female waitress was rude about it and didnt offer any mediation. We got the bill and settled the amount and then upon leaving the owner very rudely accused us of not paying for some drinks and trying to leave without paying. Delicious food at reasonable prices in a wonderful pub with fantastic views. The service is very good and the pub has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I had the Piri Piri chicken with rice and salad today. It was delightful and worth every penny.The chicken nuggets on the children's menu are a favourite with my children. They say they are the best they have had and after trying, I would have to agree. The food they serve is quality. The pub is in an amazing location for walkers. Beautiful pub! Fabulous location. Sunday dinner🤔 we have been looking forward to a roast dinner at the King Bill.
