Norton Grange Hotel & Spa — Restaurant in Rochdale

My husband and I recently stayed at the hotel and visited the restaurant. We were very disappointed with our experience. The staff was very unwelcoming at the restaurant and ignored us, the other tables around us were being served and spoken to however we waited over 45 minutes to be served and eventually left without being fed! At a wedding event...main room beautiful...staff very attentive and polite....food...3 course meal soup nice but pityful drop in bottom of bowl...😠 Main disgraceful beef extreamly tuff...2x small roast potatoes...1 floret each cauliflower and broccoli...child size very poor.... dessert not even worth a mention...I had to leave early due to feeling so hungry... good money was paid for that food and there was just none of it... service shocking 80 mins to wait for main...
