The Bagelry — Restaurant in Rochford

Been going to the bagelry since it first opened and have always loved the food However I have recently ordered over the phone for collection, there was two ladies who I’ve never seen before not the usual staff working , they were rude especially the girl taking orders on the phone not polite at all she completely disregarded my order and gave me the complete wrong items when I phoned to ask for it to be changed her attitude was disrespectful and disappointing saying “oh well must have been my mistake” I can honestly say I will never order another thing from here again and the management should consider who they have as there staff handling there orders and...

I walked past this place and didn’t know it existed so placed an ad hoc order to takeaway. A cheese and ham bagel. I had left the site before I ate it so could not bring it back or talk to the server but the bagel was too hard (like it had been recently defrosted). The margarine was on one half and thick only 50% of the bagel was covered with the margarine thank goodness. The cheese was in huge lumps and the ham was wafer thin. This was a really nice lunch today for my husband's birthday. I pre-ordered and asked for a specific time in the delivery and they were very prompt. The food was excellent. We had a variety of different bagels, crisps, drinks and chocolates, all of which were included and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend ordering from here as it was easy, fresh and different to most of the lunch / meal options available in the Hockley/ Hullbridge/ Rayleigh area....
