Terrible organisation! Very confusing system of service and seating. You have to get a table first, go back to queue up (I was on my own so had to leave my coat on a chair of a 4 seater table. Then take my drink back to the table and wait for my food to be brought to me. Bizarrely no cutlery was brought with the meal so I had to go and get it near the till. Too many people walking backwards and forwards and no-one seemed to know what the system is. They need someone out on the floor to advise and direct customers. Plus coordinate the staff who wandered around aimlessly; tables needed to be cleared but when the staff did eventually do it they were far too slow. One odd thing is that there is a gap between the part where you slide your tray (eg after picking a slice of cake) meaning you have to stand holding your tray before moving along and putting your tray down again. A frail old lady behind me really struggled with doing that as she had a walking stick in one hand and the tray balanced procariously in the other! Emphasis seems to be on using their app but the majority of the people there when I was there were of an age unlikely to use an app! Overcomplicated set up! Just needs completely reorganising to make the whole experience easier. Very expensive. Thin soup and some bread was £7.25. A slice of...

Read moreThe only thing that let's this place down is that you can't use blackbrooks vouchers. I think they are really missing a trick here. I get vouchers for Xmas each year and I could use them to buy a delicious coffee and cake or even lunch, but no. Its so silly. Don't carry the name of the garden centre if you arnt willing to participate in all areas of it. Also they close half the restaurant while you are dining and put up a belittling sign saying shut for cleaning and slowly start to close in the area you are sitting it. I cant believe they are aloud to do this don't loiter around with a hoover making me feel like I have to hurry my experience just because the manager has instructed you to clean up and shut down. Quite frankly it's rude. Also staff on mobile phones and chatting about customers ( not ok). Apart from that food is very tasty and garden centre is a...
