A nice and large cafe in a busy garden centre. Good selection of food although they seem to run out of things quite early during service so perhaps someone should take a look at supply and demand. Prices seem to be a bit random with some things being what I would consider very expensive yet similar items being a reasonable price. If you get a chance do try the afternoon tea which is excellent. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful as well. The restaurant seating area is kept very clean and tables cleared quickly. It does get very busy at lunchtime even during the week. Even arriving at 11:30 there was quite a queue. So I reckon 11 would have been better.

We have visited this cafe a couple of times. The breakfast is very good but beware, they stop serving at 11am at the till and so includes your waiting time in the long weekend queue. The cakes look and taste great Parking is free and the whole place is wheelchair accessible

Had the most delicious lunch at Blackbrooks today! The Blackbrooks burger was so good! I've visited once before and had a breakfast, which was equally as good!! Lovely garden centre, lots of products available! Well worth a visit!

Terrible organisation! Very confusing system of service and seating. You have to get a table first, go back to queue up (I was on my own so had to leave my coat on a chair of a 4 seater table. Then take my drink back to the table and wait for my food to be brought to me. Bizarrely no cutlery was brought with the meal so I had to go and get it near the till. Too many people walking backwards and forwards and no-one seemed to know what the system is. They need someone out on the floor to advise and direct customers. Plus coordinate the staff who wandered around aimlessly; tables needed to be cleared but when the staff did eventually do it they were far too slow. One odd thing is that there is a gap between the part where you slide your tray (eg after picking a slice of cake) meaning you have to stand holding your tray before moving along and putting your tray down again. A frail old lady behind me really struggled with doing that as she had a walking stick in one hand and the tray balanced procariously in the other! Emphasis seems to be on using their app but the majority of the people there when I was there were of an age unlikely to use an app! Overcomplicated set up! Just needs completely reorganising to make the whole experience easier. Very expensive. Thin soup and some bread was £7.25. A slice of...

This is the first time I've been to this branch of blackbrooks we normally visit the smaller branch near golden Cross and cant fault that one at all ..i found the bigger branch near seddlecombe amazing place to walk round can get confused which entrance to go in and could find exit so easy but I guess once you been visiting a few times be OK... the restraunt area is massive lots of different style of chairs looks really stylish my only fault was the cheesy chips I had hardly any cheese and the chips were the type with skins on them well some of them did, didnt like them at all tasted old or something ,I ordered them as they are really good at golden Cross branch thinking they wud be tge same but nothing like them but apart from that all else very good had a chocolate éclair and coffees all good they have a butchers near the restaurant good display of meats also couple of independent shops inside the building she shop etc nice big carpark ,I will go again and will report other things like disabled access, toilets...

The only thing that let's this place down is that you can't use blackbrooks vouchers. I think they are really missing a trick here. I get vouchers for Xmas each year and I could use them to buy a delicious coffee and cake or even lunch, but no. Its so silly. Don't carry the name of the garden centre if you arnt willing to participate in all areas of it. Also they close half the restaurant while you are dining and put up a belittling sign saying shut for cleaning and slowly start to close in the area you are sitting it. I cant believe they are aloud to do this don't loiter around with a hoover making me feel like I have to hurry my experience just because the manager has instructed you to clean up and shut down. Quite frankly it's rude. Also staff on mobile phones and chatting about customers ( not ok). Apart from that food is very tasty and garden centre is a...
