Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Rotherham

Service and food at cortonwood cafe is dismal. We’ve been for a late lunch at 3 o’clock but I think it was cooked at about 11 o’clock this morning and left under a heat lamp. Fish, chips and mushy peas, fish was rock hard. Southern fried chicken chips with salad and coleslaw, chicken was dry n couldn’t chew it. Cool chips and salad consisted of lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes, no coleslaw because they’d run out no mayo because they’d run out. Please tell me how you can run out it’s a supermarket. Kids chips fish goujons and peas which even two 4 year olds wouldn’t eat. Morrisons should be absolutely disgusted at serving food this bad. We we’re asked if everything was ok, when we said no and explained the reply was oh sorry...

The service was extremely slow, there was only a handful of customers, most of whom already had their food, but it took around 15 minutes for two bacon rolls to come out. The floor was grubby and greasy to the extent that as I was waiting for the self service coffee machine my feet were sliding apart from the grease on the floor. The tea advertised on the self order screen said it was Yorkshire Tea Gold, but when you get to the self service drinks area, it's Tetley Tea, not Yorkshire Gold. Ordered a delivery through just-eat, the black pudding was missing and the toast was missing the bacon was so undercooked i had to recook it and the poached egg texture resembled a hard boiled egg. Bearing in mind this breakfast is £10 and was looking forward to a bit of black pudding. You can't tell me that a large supermarket like morrisons doesn't stock more black pudding. Its just pure idleness. So where was the toast? Run out of bread i suppose? Also why send double beans was that to cover up the mess you sold me as a breakfast. Just feel ripped off. Morrisons manager needs to be having words...
