We popped to The Bell this morning for a late breakfast/brunch. We were seated quickly and asked if we would like any drinks so ordered coffees. The menu didn’t mention Gluten Free options for Brunch but when we asked it was easily accommodated and I was given extras for the things I could have to compensate for the things I couldn’t which was lovely as not many other places will do this ! The food was really, really good. All hot and really tasty. Nice relaxed atmosphere and not made to feel in the least bit rushed. Definitely recommend and will return soon - thank you ! ZoĆ« & Paul

Very nice first visit. Divided Bar, Lounge, Restaurant, and outdoor eating areas (and a play area with climbing frame for young children). Food and drinks very reasonably priced along with a board full of specials. We were a party of six who walked up to The Bell Inn from the canals (because The Waterside kitchen closes at 2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays). We ordered different dishes, from bangers and mash to vegetarian lasagna to sea bass. All very well presented, served all at once. Good dessert menu too. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. I certainly hope to return.

Really great location. Had a wonderful time when I visited the staff for really friendly great range of drinks for sale. Huge garden with a fish pond and the veggie plot. Loads of great things to eat on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can't wait to visit again!

I will never ever be able to recommend the bell enough . Rachel millie and team went above and beyond hosting our wedding this weekend. The Bell came in and saved us when 8 months before the day the original venue closed. they bent over backwards for us offering the garden room, hut and patio with marquee. Further more allowing us to still use caterers that had already been pre booked with big deposits for. Bearing in mind this was due to be a big weekend for any venue being summer bank holiday weekend! They were hot on communication happy to help in any way possible . They even contacted us to say was able to let us set up night before (massively reduced pre wedding stress) spoke to vendors directly and took in my cake and set it up . On the day we arrived over an hour early due to photos with weather not taking place! and nothing was an issue . they even took a mini video of snippets of our day ! service was quick and happy! and finally after it was all over the gems even cleaned up boxed our stuff away for storage so we didn't need to worry the next day ! ...

I’ll start with the good: Y’all the desserts here are legendary and worthy of 5 stars! We had an amazing honeycomb cheesecake with crĆØme, a crĆØme brulle that was licked clean and then a super delicious sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice-cream. And these desserts were split between 5 adults, but none of us felt that super sickly sugar coma afterwards, so this is deffo a place bookmarked when next sweet tooth attacks.

Food wise, we all thought the chips were great and would get the fish pie again, but none of the other dishes hit the mark for our palate on this visit. Personal preference but I didn’t enjoy the batter on the fish - tasted stodgy/ weird. The veggie burger was ok, and the duck had a lot more spice so it overwhelmed the salad.

However great service, comfy chairs and overall lovely ambiance. I’m curious enough to come back and try some other stuff on the menu when next in Rugby, and definitely...

Been back a couple of times since the review below. Yesterday we held a wake there in the Garden Room with bar. I cannot recommend highly enough how good everything was. Excellent - communication and arrangements beforehand and help with music and photography slideshow. Excellent - food in both quality, amount and value Excellent - speed of service at the bar Thankyou

Service really let it down. Had a booking at 5pm Sunday, only 3 of us. Had to remind the staff to take our order (we only had mains) and it arrived at 5.55. Nice gesture to take one meal off the bill which they did without any feedback but I would rather have had a better service. The young lad was that apologised for the wait blamed it on being busy, you took the bookings and know how many people will be eating! Shame because the food is good and we have been here a few times. Certainly wouldn’t visit at...
