We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and we felt at home. The roast was awesome! The meat was great, and there was a great variety of vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was heavenly, but we will need a bowl of it next time. Definitely 10/10. We felt like we had known the owners for years!! This place is excellent. Environment was so nice and relaxed, had beer battered fish and chips very well cooked, was not greasy, chunky chips were so tasty. But the key point the tartar sauce!!! It's a lovely pub with a great atmosphere we arrived late to check in and we was shown to our room it was lovely and clean the bedding was really good and the breakfast was really tasty .. nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff if I was to go back to visit my family I wouldn't haste as we had a warm welcome.
