Outstanding value for Full English breakfast - Snow Goose Pub A great way to start our Saturday morning with a full English breakfast at the Snow Goose Pub and their weekly “Doggy Breakfast” event. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by the manager and talked through their Saturday breakfast morning. They had several breakfasts on offer however we went for the Full English breakfast which was outstanding value. The breakfast was well presented as you can see in the photo's we have included. When you order a Full English, you also get coffee, tea, a choice of pastries, yogurts, cereals, fruit and crumpets, pancakes and bread which you can pop in the toaster, all the extras are laid out ready for you take at your leisure. They also have a doggy menu which means both you and your pooch can enjoy a breakfast together, my boy had the sausage and scrambled egg, I didn't have time to take a picture as he wolfed it down. Once we finished our breakfast we headed out into the secure garden where all the dogs come off lead and get to run around and have fun with each other, best time for doggy socialising. We will definitely be going back as the Snow Goose has this breakfast available every Saturday from 9 - 11am. Great family pub, your kids will also enjoy visiting as there are a few animals who are part of the pub family which your little ones will enjoy saying hello to.

Just had Sunday roast. Really good. Service was very, very slow. Dog friendly. They even have doggy ice cream. Fish and chips with mushy peas was superb. The salads are great. Even the side salads are superb. Meticulously diced cucumber and beetroot. The chef really cares about their food and presentation. Management has changed a few times over the years but now with the most amicable and attentive owners. Food is good and big portions. Quiz night, on a Wednesday is always busy, booking advisable. Service can be slow.

We though this place was nice but found the food underwhelming and just ok rather than good . This was surprising as they proudly told us where they get their meat from and we thought we might have found a gem ! The staff are friendly and the environment is good and they have a nice play area for children it’s just the food that lets it down a bit , I feel based on this visit that there are better choices to go to in the area. Thanks for the reply maybe is was just an off day we will give you another try soon

I recently visited The Snow Goose with my family for Sunday lunch, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made our experience truly memorable.

The staff were exceptional genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. A standout moment was when they offered us a taste of the soup before ordering, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly valued.

Little details, like free squash for kids, suncream for hot days, and a charming mini-farm, set this pub apart. Even when there was a slight delay with my son’s burger, the team handled it with excellent communication and care.

The food was outstanding - fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a place that balances top-tier food with such exceptional service.

Having lived in Farnborough for three years, I'm thrilled to have discovered this gem. It’s now our favorite local spot, and I'll be recommending it to all our friends and family.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for an outstanding experience. You made our day special!

I want this pub to succeed as over the years I have seen it at it's best and worst. The new landlords seem to be doing a great job. It was sad that today I saw the standards drop. I went to the bar, 2 staff had their backs to me talking to each other , idly doing something to the nut jars. I waited for a least 3 minutes before they turned around, and then to my surprise even though they looked my way, they walked off in separate directions. There was no acknowledgement that I was there. I needed to wait a further 2 minutes before someone came up to ask if I was being served. I replied "no" he politely advised me that he couldn't serve alcohol..A minute or so later a member of staff from the other side of the bar served me. Had the 2 members of staff that had seen, but decided that I was invisible, had they acknowledged me, I would not be putting a negative review today. I just hope that I can do a more positive review shortly, and that this is not the start of downward...
