Waffelato — Restaurant in Salford

Avoid this place if it’s the last thing you do. Ordered at 10 and was waiting over an hour for the food. When I went out to the garden to check if there was any cars I found our order sitting on a bench in the cold. The food was beyond awful, cold and stale and was chucked in the bin. Rang that night and was told that a manager would ring me back that night. I got no call back and ironically called back the next day with same phone number and was ignored 3 times. when I rang off a different number, they answered, how convenient. We have a pitbull that sits at the door and had the living room door open waiting for the knock which never came. The manager was the rudest restaurant manager I’ve ever spoken to and called me a liar and that it was my fault I didn’t hear the delivery driver leave my food on a bench. She asked me for footage from CCTV to prove my claim. 22 quid would’ve been better donated to charity then in their hands. Worst customer service and restaurant I’ve ever experienced. They also hung up on the phone when I tried to complain and asked for picture proof so that is what I’ve provided...

Walked past regularly thought it looked very nice .On the recommendation of a friend I finally went in.I had a coffee first then had sundaes brought after we had finished drink.lce creams were tasty, not full of sugar. I had a salted caramel sundae ,heavenly my friend had the kinder chocolate,also very tasty.I saw some burgers brought out,they looked very nice.I didn't know they did them as they are a recent addition.I will be going back to try. The lady serving was very friendly, made our coffee strong as requested. She asked if we wanted both at same time or a gap.Perfect, very proffesional.I would highly recommend it. A new business starting up & it's nice to see somebody trying to bring something new & of good quality...

I was hungry while passing this place and I saw a poster in the window advertising 'Smash Burgers'... So I went in to see what they had available. The staff were extremely friendly and I ended up ordering a 'Champingonion Burger' - a beef burger with loads of mushrooms and cooked onion... And wow! It honestly was the best burger I've had for a long long time. Really delicious and with good crispy chips too, and even better, it didn't cost the earth. They are currently offering a second burger at half price (if you order 2) so I recommend anyone who's double hungry to go here! Thank you Waffleato, I will be back next time I'm in...
