Been there: August 2014 (afternoon) Drank: Bitter The pub is so small that any newcomer is immediately under scrutiny, sticking out like a sore thumb. Same-level toilets, which is always a plus. Superb place where you can relax and enjoy the company , it is shangrila where you meet like time souls who just want to be given a chance too to mix , me can't fault this establishment... be brave they have love and laughter .... bolts brewery should proud of Julie, Matty and bar staff .....work hard excellent ambasords for the company... There is nothing whatsoever to dislike about this pub. It's an absolute classic street corner pub of which very few survive. Add in great staff, customers and of course Holt's beer at wonderful prices that put city centre chain pubs to shame. I almost don't want you to go and keep it secret for the few, but get there and support...
