The Tilted Barrel — Restaurant in Sandwell

A unique experience in what is a unique and quirky part of England. If you're in this area and want a few beers and a curry after a long day touring or on business, you have come to the right place. The pub is one of a kind due to its famous tilting features, the curry menu here and in most other places in the area is a flagship to the standard British Indian restaurant scene and also way better value all round. The house Goat curry was outstanding, full of spice and with all the trimmings to go with it you could almost be in New Delhi's Connaught Circus (an experience everyone should have once!!). Definitely visiting here again at some point in life - keep going strong...

Visited the first time in years, place has been done up and is nice and clean, warm and plenty of seating. Staff were nice and welcoming and well stocked bar with plenty of choice. We ordered food to take away, one dish wasn't on the menu but it wasn't a problem for the staff. When at home the food was hot and plentiful and delicious. We ordered mega mix grill and a paneer jalfrezi. Lots of well cooked tika , lamb chops,wings ,sheek kebabs and fish pakora. Nice salad box and four tubs of chili and yogurt sauce. I visited this bar a couple of weeks ago and I can not explain how amazing the food is!! We met a lovely lady named Harsh (H) and she is soo approachable, lovely and soo down to earth. Not to mention very welcoming and amazing!! soo we decided to go back there today and H was there with another bar man who both made the experience amazing!
