1887 Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

We were travelling through the Scottish Highlands in June and wanted to treat ourselves on our last eve there. We booked a table for 2 on the day (YOLO!), and were super lucky someone had cancelled on the day, so were able to get the table! There were not many pictures of the surroundings of the restaurant online other than the food (we did not know it is part of a hotel when we booked), so although we were excited about the good food, we did not expect the stunning location that comes with this place as well!! That was a very pleasant surprise! We were really pleased with the service provided by every single member of staff: from the booking to the welcome and food service throughout! The food of course was delicious! Honestly, we just could not fault this place! Thank you so much to the team and staff as it really ended our Scottish Highlands trip on a wonderful note...

From the moment we walked into Restaurant 1887, we were impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of modern charm and historic character. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The drink selection was also top-notch, with a well-curated wine list and some creative cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal.
