We stopped off here for a bite to eat while passing through Lochinver. Had the dog with us and enquired if they allow people with dogs to sit outside. Turns out they have an area specifically for dog owners but if you are eating outside you are limited to the take away menu. That being the case we ordered out food and took it back to the car. Read moreWe had fish and chips ( one kids portion which is £8.50 ) and the other main meal £16.95 . Comparing to the other restaurants nearby this one is cheaper and affordable. The fish and chips were quite nice but surprisingly both meals were almost same size. The chips in large meal is bit more . Service is nice . If you are not that very big eater go for the kids meal which is cheaper and will fill your tummy no matter.
Add on takeaway haddock is priced at £9.95 small and 12.95 normal size .

We sat down and ordered two haddock and chips with mushy peas, and was shocked to see the food arrive with in 5 minutes of ordering.
The food was luke warm and the fish tasted as if it had been pre-cooked and microwaved to serve. What rounded off the poor food was allowing dogs into a restaurant, that is a no go.
