Decided to go here for lunch as it was somewhere we had passed often but had never thought of going in - we have relatives visiting from England so thought it would be a nice treat. Firstly I was pleased that we got a table without any fuss, even although the place was rather busy and we were a party of 5 adults & we hadn't thought of booking. The menu is quite impressive with a lot to chose from. Portions were big but food to be honest was average...nothing to rave about. Desserts were a bit of a disappointment...we tried the deep fried Mars Bar - more for curiosity than anything else but as the pics show it was rather unimpressive to look at & I believe the taste wasn't that much better...but we can now say that we have had the unusual dessert ! The chocolate Brownie Sundae didn't have very much ice cream in it and the Rum & Raisin ice-cream although it was very boozy it lacked something to complete it - maybe a wafer or some cream. The service was a wee bit slow but given how busy it was that really isn't a complaint just an observation. Price was OK - 3 starters, 5 main courses, 3 desserts, 2 lattes & 8 drinks = £108. I enjoyed the visit & glad we went but wouldn't rush back...

Poor service, awful food, left feeling sick. We ordered 2 burgers, they came back a bit later and told us they were sold out of them, and they wouldn't wait at the table to let us choose an alternative so we had to get back in line wait in line 10 more minutes to change our order to the 'kangaroo burger'. Took a while to come, when it did it was just a bun, with some rocket, and two of the most rubbery, sawdusty, processed, perfectly oval 'burgers'. Menu said it was made with jalapenos for 'a fiery kick'. Absolutely zero taste, nothing at all.

Just be honest about what you're advertising guys. Charging £16 for a gourmet burger, then serving that, is a joke. You also forgot our sides and those came late. And the 'coke' on tap was flat and tasted like liquorice. Had to swap it for a can.

You poor waitresses all seem about 14 and completely terrified. We didn't feel looked after or listened to at all, but I don't think I'd have done any better being a waiter at 14.

By all means go feed the goats but don't spend the £££ on a 'fancy'...

We usually go there with the kids , kids love to see the animals but unfortunately since the lockdown the place have soo much changes the entrance to come in rigth next to the road doesn't feel safe for walking there special if you have small kids and people come through is not enough space to walk with the cars coming through on road ! And last Sunday food it was disappointing 😞 we have ask for burgers with no onion at all ! Myself I hate it , I still have bits of onion on my burger and I try to take it out the bits of left on my burger, and it was all tasting onion it felts it was been cook it with onion and they try take it out, kinda make me fell sick and couldn't not finish my meal at all ! Soo disappointing for the first time !

About the service , staff it was OK and fast as always 👍 car park it was easy ! And litlle ones loves feed the animals and playing around on slide soo is great entertainment the small ones !

Despite of this disappointing, we still going to give...

Lovely spot, lovely staff, good mochas! Though sadly, you are paying for the experience. We had a couple of burgers with chips and coleslaw, the burgers were quite small on cold buns with a single piece of very smooshy tomato. We finished them, but considering the prices, we definitely expected them to be nicer. I cannot fault the atmosphere or the service though! PLUS (as a Vet Nurse, this is a big one for me) they take VERY good care of their animals. Enclosures are great, clean, and signed to make sure the animals aren't fed inappropriately. I do recommend a visit, just don't expect the quality of the food to match the prices! 😁

Only able to serve food outside because of Coronavirus restrictions but still well worth a visit and does have protection from the rain. Menu is streamlined but still very tasty. The Beech Tree burger is a delicious feast with two meaty burgers, mushrooms and relish - worth the messiness. Kids portions available. Good beer selection. Stunning location, right on the West Highland Way. Picnic area available for hikers with their own food. Brilliant play equipment for kids and lots of birds, goats, rabbits, ponies and other animals too.

Great location and fantastic outdoor seating area with climbing frame/equipment for children. There is an amazing collection of animals (goats, rabbits, donkeys, ducks, rabbits) which the kids loved. Downside for me was lack of baby change facilities so baby was changed on the floor of the men's toilet :( Food was well portioned with a good choice and arrived quickly; although my meal arrived luke warm. Overall pretty good and would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or some lunch.
