Beijing Banquet — Restaurant in Scotland

I dined with yourself last Sunday 31/3/2024 and I was very unhappy with the standard of the food. I got to the third thing on my first plate which was a chicken satay on the skewer, my first few bites were OK but my forth bite I bit into it and ended up with broken skewer all through the part of the chickens not meant to have any in it, they must have broken a skewer removed it and added a fresh one not knowing it was broken through the chicken. I had swallowed some by mistake so I panicked and ran to the bathroom to try and get it out, it was stuck in the back of my throat and I think I may have even swallowed some. Whilst in the bathroom another customer heard me and came over to help me she got me water and alerted a member of staff of what happened the member of staff came to ask what happened I explained my situation and she said if I needed anything to get a hold of her. It was a horrible experience I've had a sore throat since it happened and I'm utterly appalled that the kitchen are not keeping on top of there food safety, everything should be getting checked before being served to the customer, I'm a chef myself so I know they should be quality checking everything that comes out of the kitchen. We got a small discount ended up paying for 1 adult 1 child meal but I was suprised I had to pay for my meal at all. Service 10/10 the member of staffed looked after me but you need to have a word with your kitchen staff that was completely unacceptable. It's taken me a while to contact yourself as I suffer with anxiety and after the whole incident I just wanted to forget about it, but it's not on, what if a child had eaten that or an old person who can't fully communicate what then? It's extremely careless...

went to lunch at opening time, it was getting busy before the doors where even opened. Seated promptly and drinks order taken soon after being shown to our seats. wide variety of fresh food to cater for many people's taste. Good selection of European food so not hard to find something not to like. Soft drink option of a bottomless glass with machines at both ends of restaurant to top up. I enjoyed my food no real complaints. There are plenty of deserts, ice creams, fruit and a chocolate fountain. One critique for me personally was the jelly texture it was rubbery and cubed so might not be to everyone's taste but all in all the food was amazing. The atmosphere was good, staff serving and atentive to customers and cleared away our plates quickly and fresh cutlery was waiting when we got back to our table. I would recommend booking or her to g there before doors open as only half an hour of the doors opening the placed was packed. We got a parking space but when my friend and I left the car park was full as it's not that good for parking close by as it sits near the motorway entrance/exit so people may have to find alternative way of getting their or spend a bit of time thinking about where would be the closest place to park. *NOTE: STILL ONLY TAKING CASH BUT THEY WILL BE GETTING A CARD MACHINE IN SOON.

Usually I love this place the best Chinese food if ever had. Tonight was no different honey chicken was smashing until I and the person I was with cut into the chicken satay. The chicken was fairly pink and freezing cold in The middle from that there was no chance I was eating anything. I brought it to the attention of a woman working on the shop floor. She was lovely she told her manager about it and asked us to wait for her to come over. We then proceeded to wait 25 mins for the manager to come over. When she did she was an idiot. I told her that the chicken was fairly pink she kept going on about how I didn't like it. That wasn't the case at all it was pink I'm a restaurant manager and I know for a fact chicken shouldn't be pink in anyway shape or form. She talked over both me and my friend telling us it's cause we didn't like it. It was just a poor experience who let's a customer wait 25 mins to address a situation such as pink chicken.
