Came here 10/8/24 with my family. The food layout is amazing and it makes it clear where each food is.. ive been to Renfrew and Falkirk and they exceed my expectations.. this one did not. The chicken was feeling bipolar that day, some was undercooked and some was overcooked. My nephew had chicken nuggets and chips but the chicken nuggets were as hard as rocks. How can his gnashers get through that. The drinks dispenser has not been changed in a while as they were extremely flat. At this point i shouldve just went to the McDonald’s across the road and got drinks. I tried salt and pepper chips and they tasted like absolute dogmeat. I thought i was eating cardboard. My mum likes oysters and has them often at the other beijings but was utterly disappointed as they looked like theyve been lying for a few weeks. Again, they were even undercooked. If u gave them CPR theyd come back to live im afraid. The rice didnt taste fresh either and I saw flies around the pizzas. The ribs had hardly any meat on the bone, ive seen more meat on a butchers pencil. At the desserts section, the cakes were missing and there was just crumbs as if the children had just had a cake fight. The bowls still had a residue from whoever ate from them previously. Ill attach some pictures. It was £26 per person including refills.

Visited this establishment this evening as it is often thoroughly enjoyed. However we were seated at table A7, by the window in the back corner. Spotted three spiders upon sitting down by the open windows so slightly understandable. Until then we were greeted by multiple bugs all over the table, no matter how many we moved or squished they would just keep re appearing so took it upon ourselves to move to the table beside, which was slightly better but still had the same problem. We left after only consuming one plate of food and one drink. Our time of visit was about 17:15 so the restaurant had just been shut for an hour, giving them plenty of time to wipe and reset tables. We sat for a while then decided we could no longer stay there to finish the remainder of our meal, knowing that there was bugs crawling about both us, our table and our plates. We approached the bar in which you pay where we raised our concerns to the server who i believe is called Kate from the receipt who’s only response was “oh the tiny black ones, yeah they’ve been outside too.” Shows that they are fully aware of the issue and have done nothing to tackle this, leaving unhappy customers and bad reviews. A small fortune for £50 down the drain paired by an unenjoyable experience.

Beijing Banquet in Glenrothes is a fantastic destination for a family feast! 🥢✨ Our visit to this all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet was a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to everyone's tastes. The selection at Beijing Banquet is impressive, with an array of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. From crispy spring rolls and savory dumplings to flavorful stir-fries and rich noodle dishes, every bite was a treat. The kids especially loved the sweet and sour chicken and the extensive dessert bar. 🍤🍜🍰 The restaurant has a spacious and vibrant atmosphere, making it a great place for families to enjoy a meal together. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. 🧒👧 We appreciated the clean and well-organized buffet setup, which made it easy to explore and try different dishes. The price was reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality and variety of food available. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a meal out, Beijing Banquet in Glenrothes is the perfect choice for a delicious and satisfying dining experience. Highly recommended! 🌟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 #BeijingBanquet #GlenrothesEats #ChineseBuffet #FamilyDining

Rated before previous rating below.

Current rating: Food is usual as described below, pricing is reasonable for what you get (though reccomend limiting your drinks or it can hike the bill up fast).

Usually highly rate this place but the staff that served this time made most of our table feel unwelcome. Being they started the service by being rather rude and abrupt about their payment policy of larger tables. I can understand that they want this cleared up upfront but it was a relatively small administrative instruction that was delivered in a way that made us feel like either we should leave or the server should.

The eating was good as usual, we were sat somewhere that was poorly lit and rather tight in terms of arm space between us at the table, where again the service arrived often making us feel awkward and out of place. Picking up plates either as soon as the fork left our hands or not at all seemingly at the staffs leisure.

We had to ask for drinks to be replaced as what was supposedly lemonade was simply a lemon slice floating in tonic water. When the staff finally did leave us to our meal we managed to have an enjoyable evening. Despite the same staff member that had brought their own brand of rude indifference to the job, had decided to take their break across from us with their eyes trying to find new ways to apply themselves between us and our conversations. Even at one point striking their gaze directly at me.

The company was good enough that this wasnt enough to ruin the evening. But after giving it such a good review to many who came with us, was not the only one disappointed by the service. Updated this review to reflect most recent visit.

Previous five star rating: This place is the local go to for a good family night out. Being a local of Glenrothes can seem like it doesn't have a lot of upsides but this feast-provider will change your mind quick about that. Service has always been friendly and fast though I always recommend booking in advance as waiting can be claustrophobic around the door otherwise. Great selection of food always well cooked. Specialities being their honey glaze chicken and the salt'n'pepper chips. It's a take what you want style all you can eat with starters, main and afters all taken into account. Plenty of saucy dishes and sauce itself avaliable for topping your rice or noodles with. Salad and fruit are also available for palette cleansing or even as a side to one of the many varied slices of cake on offer. Chinese beer is available as well as gin, wine or any of the common soft drinks. It's very reasonably priced with a lunch menu aswel as a dinner service. If you do make the trip then keep an eye out for the chocolate fountain, self serve ice cream machine and double cream in a jug. Very much...

I have only visited this establishment twice but my most recent visit in November 2024 was with a friend who has never been before.

I emailed the company on 22 November 2024 and chased a response on 25 November 2024 but was met with silence.

A table was booked for 6:15pm for a part of 2. When we arrived, the employee on the front desk advised us they needed the table for 7:30pm. In hindsight, we should not have accepted this as we only had 75 minutes to try and enjoy a meal at your restaurant, and unfortunately, we just felt very rushed. This was only accepted as we hadn't eaten and travelled 40 minutes to dine here.

The booking for 7:30pm must have arrived early as a gentlemen (could have been anyone to be honest since he was dressed so casually whilst everyone else had a uniform on) suddenly came over to our table at 7:23pm without even a greeting, stating "guys we need this table in a couple of minutes". My friend was still sitting with a glass of juice in her hand and it was not yet 7:30pm. Yes, 7 minutes might appear to be nothing but when you were giving such little time to eat anyway, this was just unacceptable.

Regardless of the type of dining, it's not the best impression to customers especially when it's their first visit to your establishment. However, as a buffet / banquet type of dining you should never put a time limit like that on customers. We didn't even have time to order any other drinks, never mind enjoy more food if we wanted.

This is basically the email sent to the organisation but no response. Although this was in November, it is still relevant and should...

Had a really great time here for my sister's birthday. I'm a wheelchair user so we called ahead to make sure the place was suitable, and it was. From the get-go, the staff were lovely and willing to help. Having read some of the reviews on here before booking, I was concerned, but honestly I couldn't fault them. I'm a fussy eater and even I found an abundance of options which were tasty and filling. The staff were lovely, so I can only imagine that the people who found them "abrupt" or "rude" were reading into things considerably. They were rushing around, yes, and when you see the size of the place you'll understand why they're always running around and not stopping to chat. The review about bottomless drinks being pepsi or diet pepsi are misleading to say the least, and the drinks menu is at the table, soft drinks on the back page list pepsi, diet pepsi, irn bru, vimto, tropicana, and lemonade as bottomless drinks, and they're happy to wait for you to decide. The empty glass is because you fill the glass up as many times as you like at their drinks machine with whatever drink you want.

The trash thing was a bit of rubbish as well, the car park is next to a McDonald's, and despite this the car park was clean, there were no cigarette butts anywhere...

All this is to say that none of the issues we saw mentioned materialised while we were there, and we'll be going...
