Curries Lacked Traditional Flavour We had an alright meal here. The food was presented well and the portion sizes were decent. The main letdown was the taste of the curries, they didn't have the traditional, homemade flavour we were hoping for. It felt like a toned-down version for a general palate. Probably won't return as we prefer more authentic Indian food.

I went there at 6.30 it was already packed. The chicken chilli was nice with good boiled rice. Overall too much to eat but a very nice meal. Bread was slightly burnt and papadum slightly off oil taste. I was happy with the meal at £25 for what it was. Parking is an issue there.

What an amazing food and the ambience. Plus such a warm welcoming staff. Kudos to the chef and the owner Anil. We were in a complete awestruck moment. I strongly recommend to try this once and am sure you would be a fan too

This was really not good. We started with poppadoms, 95p each and £1.50 for a table spoon of mango chutney, obviously not home made, and the same for spiced onions. Not nice. We then shared a platter. The onion bhajee was so full of chilli it was really unpleasant, the whole thing was chilli, the mushroom thing was just slimy. Yeugh. Moving to the main, well its the first time ever that I've had bombay aloo with boiled, unpeeled new potatoes with what I can only describe as a gross tomato butter chicken type sauce. No love at all. The rice was overly synthetic fragranced and the lamb passanda looked like baby sick. The lamb was slimy and really fatty. All in all, pretty horrid. Rather than make a fuss, we said we were full and left. I'd give this a miss if I were you. Not worth the money or your appetite. Shame really. Maybe we are just spoiled with proper Indian food. This was not it. Oh and before I forget, the chicken madras was just chicken tikka, over dyed and covered in some mass produced sauce, so bad that it was not even cooked in the sauce, just...

Average food and poor service little or no atmosphere starters for 5 persons fish and vegetable pakora onion banji were good but had to ask for small starter plates to be brought to table other members of party’s chicken tikka main meal looked appetising and good value my chicken punjabi masala was bland in an nondescript sauce and 3 out of 5 of the party were disappointed with main meals service was poor don’t want over attentive service but not once asked if meal was ok do we want another drink asked if we had finished when clearly we had not don’t think that Less than 90 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant we had outstayed our non existent welcome at 10 pm on a Saturday night we were brought our bill without asking for it not asked if we wanted coffee or drinks desserts clearly the waiter had something better to do and somewhere better to go...

Having used this restaurant a few times in the past without complaint, I was extremely disappointed in tonight's service. Ordered a takeaway through Just Eat. When it arrived and I opened it the driver had given us a bag containing 2 bags of chips and 2 Naan breads instead of 2 curries, rice and a chicken kebab. I immediately phoned the restaurant who advised they'd send a fresh order. 10 mins later the delivery driver arrived with our original meal which was stone cold. Asked if he wanted the other bag back and told him I had opened it all. He said, "yes, it's someone else's order". I was horrified and actually couldn't believe he had said that. So, if someone has had their food delivered looking like its been opened, it has! Had I not been as hungry I would have returned my stone cold meal too. Never...
