Had a lovely meal food was delicious and the service was very good only disappointment was we had booked a few days previously as we were going on a Friday night the person had said you could walk in but we decided to book just to be on the safe side, when we arrived the waitress asked if we had booked we said yes she said i will take you upstairs as it’s very busy tonight, there were a few tables in the downstairs we had booked for and there was only 2 of us, but anyway upstairs we went i also informed the waitress when i saw the stairs that i had a knee replacement and waiting on the other one and i wasn’t good with the stairs but heyho she didn’t bother upstairs isn’t a patch on the downstairs restaurant, there were 2 other tables taken 2 ppl in each and they left no long after we arrived, so we were left sitting upstairs with nobody and am also very aware of social distancing which was not the case as there were tables for 2 downstairs very very disappointed on what otherwise was a...

Poor visit 15/08. Had to wait an age to get table covid cleaned, remainder of service was prompt. Special Hongroise beef had 3 small pieces, rest was mushrooms, although not advertised in the description. Came with chips, rice and undercooked garlic bread. Beach burger was a bird's eye frozen one, certainly not the rump steak burger advertised. Prices have increased from their on line menus, and they do not pass on the 15% VAT reduction to customers either, as was the purpose behind this government objective, but choose to keep this for themselves. Very poor visit, poor food and interrupted half way through meal by staff asking to take our details for track and trace. This was sporadic to say the least. Will not be returning. Clearly more interested in ripping off visitors and tourists to catch up on lost revenues. Good luck bridge45, you'll need it if you continue...

Our experience here was all positive and I would have been happy to go the 5 stars except for a couple of things. The inside is down steps and unfortunately, with it having been raining, I was in considerable pain and that left us having to sit outside. At least the seats were reasonably comfy. The food and coffee we ordered were what we would consider above average and we really enjoyed it. Obviously, when it came to toilet time, I was concerned, but they have an arrangement with the bar 2 doors down which was a big help.
