Love the ethos of this cafe and its links to charity. Staff were so helpful to find best gluten free and vegan option for my friend. I did sandwich and soup, soup great tuna mayo too mayo and liquid. My friend had a baked potato that was unfortunately still part frozen. Cakes for afters were okay. Try it out if in Kirriemuir.

Coffee and soups were excellent and a variety of sandwiches/paninis are on offer. We were very pleased and would definitely go back.

In march my wife and i with a friend visited Bridges Coffee House , I ordered two brown rolls , one bacon one sausage and a toastie , a waitress arrived at the table with one plate put it in front of me and said that the cafe had only one brown roll and that was for my wife so i was given a white roll , i don't eat white bread , later that afternoon i was reminded why . I didn't complain about the white roll or that i wasn't asked if i wanted to change my order . My wife and friend got what they had ordered . When i tried to eat my roll it must have been yesterdays it was so dry and the one piece of bacon was well done so much that it was burnt round the edges , i eat some but gave up i still didn't complain to the staff only to my wife . We had also ordered tea for three , we got one pot to share , we had a cup each but we couldn't get a second one each so my wife asked for some hot water , when we got the bill we where charged £1-50 for the water . Whilst my wife and friend visited the toilets one of the staff came to the table and told me that i wouldn't be welcome in the cafe again as it was obvious that i had a problem with the food !!!!! despite that i am to good a gentleman to tell them so , UNTIL NOW . Can i give the cafe some advice come to Yorkshire and find out how look after your customers and make a really good...

A grand hot chocolate! The richness was of excellent proportion, leading to a greatly chocolatey drink, and the consistency was greatly done, with only the very bottom being slightly thick. The temperature was the only aspect slightly lacking, and could have done with being a touch warmer, though that's really a nitpick. I wasn't able to get a photograph due to my phone succumbing to the Angus winter, though I'll surely have to return to see if toppings improve the...
