I visited the Famous Butty Bus, just as we where getting our Ferry ⛴️...Great little Menu, has a Big Following , Delicious food 😋, i had a Haggis & Black Roll, Cooked Fresh to Order, and a Hot Chocolate.... Very Reasonable price, and perfect option while you are waiting.... I Highly Recommend.... ❤️😋😋😋😋

Ate here as we were getting the ferry to Uist and had one of the best meals. The food is freshly cooked and delicious! I highly recommend the fish wrap and the Cullen Skink Soup is a chef speciality. You are guaranteed excellent company from people coming to eat here too.

Stopped here for quick lunch before cycling to Tarbert. With so few food places open for cyclists riding through recently, we especially enjoyed our food here! I even managed to get a red Thai style chicken and rice (gluten free). Tasted fresh and well seasoned.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS- This is a tourist trap. They get business, because they are the only place open in the area for hot food. But wow did I leave disappointed.

First off the man serving, who I assume was the boss, told me it would take 20 minutes for the food to come. That was fine and I ordered Scampi whilst my girlfriend ordered fish and chips.

It was not 20 minutes. It felt like how it must feel for a United fan waiting for Frenkie De Jong to join them, at one point you consider that it's just never going to come. 40 minutes later, the food was ready. I was convinced the man serving told me 20 minutes just to keep me there, maybe he should face a select committee to see if he misled his customer👌. The food was then given to me by a rather rude woman who also spoke very bad English.

The scampi was average probably 4/10. Chips were decent and my girlfriends fish was 2/10, bland and greasy.

Overall, I would encourage you to drive up to the temple Inn or just to the local shop, avoid this place at all costs. Also not...

We stayed overnight here because of the butty box and the pub/restaurant near by. An excellent meal and super hospitality greeted us at the pub during miserable weather. However, the owner of butty box deliberately parked his car next to our Motorhome and played loud music from 0530hrs the next morning with his windows down in an effort to wake us up and move us on. He was very rude and aggressive. He is not Motorhome our...

A little gem. Nice to have somewhere you can have hot food when you are on the road. The Butty Bus have a good selection of dishes available. It's parked next to the car park at the ferry terminal so it gets surprisingly busy at times but waiting time is not long. Prices are reasonable. Loved the Scampi and Chips. Both the scampi and chips tasted great and the quantity...
