Plenty of tables available, comfortable and modern with a Scottish, retro touch. Friendly staff with a smile, food arrived within 5 minutes. Great coffee that was made very fast, for my espresso asked for some milk and she added some to a jug for me to add myself which was very lovely! £7.00 for bacon, egg, sausage, added cheese and tattie on the side! Great prices. £4.95 for soup of the day (The receipt was for additional food not in the photo). Best prices lunch in Scotland I’ve seen. Thank you from Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺

The cafe is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner even if you are not staying at the holiday park. The atmosphere is great and the scenery is beautiful when it rains and amazing when the sun is shining. The staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is amazing as well as the cakes.

One night stay with family, great fully serviced motorhome pitches, bistro on site serving hot food until 5.30.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service

We arrived at the café at 8:25 PM and waited patiently at the counter to place our order. Despite being clearly visible to the staff, we were completely ignored until 8:31 PM, at which point we were told that no more orders would be taken as the last call was at 8:30 PM. It felt like we were deliberately ignored until the cutoff time passed.

I explained politely that I had just come off a long road drive and was continuing my journey, but the staff still refused to serve us and shockingly asked us to leave the café. When I asked if I could use the washroom to find my husband who was already inside, the manager continued insisting that I leave the premises.

The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic courtesy was very disappointing. I understand policies exist, but a little human consideration goes a long way — especially when customers are respectful and clearly in need. I won’t...

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with this café. The communication regarding reservation, waiting time and opening hours was not good, although we had requested in advance. After the well-intentioned and decent hint to better communicate this to customers in the future, the service staff became very unfriendly and unprofessional. Criticism and professionalism are not present in this person. They then made us wait a very long time for the drinks and put them on the table without a word, we did not receive the desired drinking glasses for the children. Our request for extra pepper was long ignored. The pizza was ok. Attention: the waiting time for a pizza can be long (about 80...
