Stopped on route to John O Groats, had the halloumi burger and the steak burger. Staff were friendly and accommodated an unusual dietary request, the food was lush - especially the fries and the sticky ginger loaf. Was lovely to sit outside in the sun too!

Comfortable stopping point along our route. Delicious cappuccino, scone, and mushroom soup with gluten free bread. Lovely chat with proprietors. Would definitely stop again. ❤️

Hats off to the wonderful ladies making the lovely bakes and food, lovely wee stop but bit disappointed by the boy Jamie, I think his name was today, his behaviour to the other staff was rude and appalling and I stood in disbelief at him, he made our coffees cold because he was to busy saying he’s too busy to the other staff, apart from that and his arrogance to customers who were also nice The ladies were lovely, serving beautiful home food I thank them for a good filling meal on the road will come again...

A really friendly place to visit, nice selection of homemade cakes and selection of drinks. The menu looked great, especially the venison burger, which we may come back to for another time. Highly recommend Clachan Cafe for a stop off, either whilst passing through, visiting the nearby museum or stopping off...
