Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Won't be going back which is a great pity but after yesterday's events it was way of the wire. We were having our coffee and low and behold this squawking member of staff let out this screaming and laughing that would put Alison Hammond to shame.it was disturbingly weird. It seems the staff are a way bit to immature the oldest one with hair tied up was excruciating.and the stout laddie clearing the tables was as bad they were mocking a member of the public in buying a costa coffee for wee bit peace like we do. The members of staff were horrid and slouching about while place needed tables cleared.it was bang out of order. The laughing hyena even boasted she might get reported but doesn't care. Well nor do wee as we will spend our money in the new Starbucks much more pleasant and not full of bullying staff. Sad but we used to like costa montrose.Time for serious...

My nephew and I popped in to Costa in Montrose after driving down from Aberdeen for some food and drinks.

The service is great; the girls were friendly and welcoming.

The store was spotless, very clean and well laid out. We had toasted paninis and coffee/hot chocolate, everything was perfect.

I was really impressed with the high standard of cleanliness in the toilets. As a woman public toilets can be an awful experience, so it was a pleasure walking in to a spotless, well maintained toilet for a change.

The girl also asked my nephew if he wanted his vegan panini heated alongside/seperate from my tuna panini, most places don't ask or care.

They were well stocked with a great range of toasties/paninis/sandwiches and pastries to choose from. Will...

Another bad experience here. Everytime I come here the same female member of staff has something negative to say. Today she moaned about me helping myself to kitchen towels even though the kitchen roll is sitting at the front desk and the barista was making my coffee at the time. I still apparently need permission to ask for a bit of kitchen roll. Its petty and rude and it's always the same woman. I won't be back to this place. I just find her rude every time I come and not a pleasant place to come for a coffee I won't be back this place...
