Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Very expensive for what you get. Coffee was luke warm but the roll and sausage was hot and edible. Staff were ok. Still working behind screens and masks. Can't be easy for them. The indoor seated area is still out of commission due to Scottish Government anti Covid regulations. Amazing, eh - that a few people can't sit at a table and enjoy a coffee and a cake but 12,500 fans were allowed inside HampDump and 3000+ were allowed into the Euro Fanzone in Glasgow, complete with bevvy, to jump about and hug and embrace each other when Scotland scored their goal. Where is the 'science' behind these decisions? Answer?...

Ordered an Americano and gingerbread latte with soya milk no cream. Good job I watched the barista as she started to use normal milk, asked her for soya and heard the cashier say she didn't hear that she remade it with soya and when I got back to the car it had cream on the top, not sure if it was soya cream or gone off but it didn't taste right. Also no gingerbread man :-( I understand with masks and plastic barriers it's hard to hear but would have helped if the cashier read back the order, severely...

I'd have given it 0 stars if I could. This is quite possibly the worst Costa we've ever been in. A simple click and collect order ended up being slower than had we just gone in and ordered it ourselves. They had no record of the order and were very rude about that fact as well. The way they asked what your order was made us feel like we'd just insulted their family by coming in. You'd be better off going to anywhere other than this...
