To start with the positive... Staff was very friendly and efficient. Sadly the breakfast was underwhelming to say the least, full cooked was smallish portion and barely cooked bacon and black pudding, fried egg drenched in oil. French toast ok but quite cold. Expensive for what it was. Thought it would be a treat compared to the service station next door but sadly it was not.

Great tasting food, lovely atmosphere. All the food we got while here on our holiday was lovely. The ladies that work in the cafe are so friendly and welcoming. Anything less than 5* would be an insult to this excellent place Would highly recommend to anyone. Will be back again.

Thank you for the lovely breakfast! We got to sit in the conservatory which was sunny and warm. The Scottish breakfast was delicious with thick slabs of bacon and a thick slice of toast. The eggs royale were poached perfectly. We'll definitely be coming back if we get the chance

Stayed in the travelodge next to the cafe, my husband and i tried it for the first time on Sunday for our breakfast and it was fantastic then we had our dinner there again the same day and again wow its was amazing food really enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner there for the 4 days we were there twice a day untill today the 8th we had our last breakfast before coming home and must say it was absolutely amazing and fantastic we will definitely come back, after arriving home my husband wanted to see if uber would pick up the curry chicken with peach and banana and deliver it home 😂 he really enjoyed the breakfast the only thing he would of liked 2 toast and butter instead off one but was happy to pay the extra for the 2nd slice of toast, after having been going for our breakfast and dinner here we have really enjoyed the meals absolutely excellent meals food was beautiful even the prices are very reasonable would recommend here, each time we went the staff were very friendly and welcoming and of course very helpful would definitely go back there while staying in the travelodge hotel, also had the desserts to takeaway back to our hotel room and they were amazing and very tasty the strawberry tarts were delicious and the base was very crunchy and the choux buns with cream and toffee and pecan sauce was delicious my husband says if he could buy the toffee and pecan sauce in a cup he would buy as was it was delicious and very tasty will keep saying we enjoyed our meals there and the service we received was amazing and we recommend it and we will come back and eat there next time we are in Kinross and staying in travelodge for a break, Also we didn't wait long between ordering our meals and getting them service was great i had the pancakes each morning with different topping like with bacon and with fruit and of course just pancakes only with maple syrup was really tasty and all our meals arrived hot staff also kept checking on if our food was good and we were enjoying them and we were, my husband usually orders his drink and he has to get a second one once his food arrives but not here he only needed the one drink as the food arrived on the table quick and was very surprised he didn't need a second drink again excellent place to eat much better food than the food places next to the...

Another return trip to see the lovely Christmas displays here in Caulders garden centre, Le jardin is co-located, yesterday, 25 Nov 22. Staff remain efficient and really lovely, the food I had (salmon salad wrapped around peaches and cottage cheese) was excellent, the coffee was as good as always. The venue was busy, and that tells a tale but I didn't wait long for a table. My experience in Caulders cafe Cupar the week previously did not produce food of a similar quality - although the staff were equally as nice. As far as cafes go, Kinross win out of the two, I fully accept that others might well have a different view! A return trip yesterday 12 Mar, and I'm pleased to say that the service was not just good but excellent. I was seated at table 9 and had a bowl of soup (potato and leek) which was delicious. The bowls aren't big so don't expect to be full after it, but it was very tasty. The person who served me was really nice as were the front of house folk. I failed to take note of names otherwise I'd name all them for being so good. As it is all I can say is go to Le Jardin Café its brilliant!

Service was good, safety measures were carried out, food was ok as was the coffee. The cafe is in two parts, indoors and a conservatory type area. I was In the conservatory half, but I did think that the indoor area was very busy and not enough through draft with small windows only just open. I'm full of sympathy with the cafe management and the dichotomy in getting customers through in volume and safely. I think you're doing very...

Went here today to meet my dad for lunch. I've not been here since the butterfly farm was here - so a long time ago! I was expecting a nice wee garden centre cafe with the usual sort of lunch options. To some extent I was right - but its on a whole different level in terms of the food!

I had a baked potato with a prawn Marie rose filling. The potato was cooked perfectly and was a good size for lunch, the prawns were delicious as was the sauce. I don't normally rate a salad garnish, but this one was probably the best I've had! Lovely fresh lettuce and a few salad leaves, cucumber, strawberries, mandarins, little pieces of pineapple and thinly sliced apple - i tried a bit of the curried salad dressing. It was all ridiculously delicious!

For a sweet treat, I had a lemon and coconut slice - it was lovely, but so so sweet, I couldn't finish it but certainly enjoyed what I could manage.

The girls serving today were lovely and friendly, very cheerful and helpful.

The whole experience was just fantastic. I live in West Lothian, but already looking for an excuse to...
