Beith is on the outskirts of North Ayrshire bordering on Renfrewshire ,; and is a very picturesque village . Surrounding scenery is very impressive and has some great walks for the local and long distance traveller . The Eglinton Inn is on local and national bus routes and buses stop outside the front door . Local train station , unfortunately , is a few miles away . Pub is well worth a visit and your welcomed by the owner and his very friendly barstaff . Nice selection of bar meals served in very ambient surroundings . Prices tend to be on the higher end of the market with a pint of Guinness at £4.10 and a vodka and dash a bit expensive at over £3 . Has a large function suite at back of pub , where bar games can be played also , and would sit well over 60 . This local hostelry is well worth a visit , where I'm sure you'll enjoy...

Read moreNice wee pub. Reasonable selection of spirits, beers, etc... Always does a good pint of Guinness which can be hard to find. Has a main bar with a couple of TV's including a big screen for football etc... and a function suite on the other side of the bar. It does do food but I haven't eaten there for a few years so cant really comment on if it is still good, it certainly used to be. The owners run a fairly tight ship so there is never any trouble. It has been my 1st choice of pub in Beith for a long time...
