We are staying in Gardenstown and were looking for something near by for a nice lunch, we could not have found a better place! We opted for 2 mini afternoon teas and one of the ploughman’s lunches, all I can say is wow! We really put a lot of food away and still had to take takeaway boxes home. The quality was fantastic, location beautiful and the service was second to none! We didn’t catch his name but the guy in the cowboy hat really helped make our visit, he just couldn’t do enough for us and was checking that we weren’t in the rain as we sat outside. It was about 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and we did well to get a seat. We had tea and I had apple turnover which was very nice. Dropped by this sweet spot for a quick lunch and had tea, scones, and shortbread. The scones were alright, but the shortbread? Wonderfully homemade and delicious.
