My wife and I popped in specifically to try the toasties as our friends and family have been raving about them. Well I have to say, this must be the best toastie I have ever had. My Wife had a Chicken Tkka and Cheese and I had a Cheese, Onion & Haggis which the chef and I invented on the hoof. An amazing chocolate cake, which he warmed up for me and complimented with some cream. Brilliant, delicious food and amazing Hot Chocolate and cakes. Brilliant service, not to be missed :)

Great place for a cuppa, cake and sandwich Lovely cafe, a great stop off on a walk of the great historical village. Purchased freshly made sandwiches and delicious chocolate cake, in preparation for a days outing for the Tattoo. Lovely cup of tea, very friendly owner and young lady serving. The cafe can be seen as the photo on the local historic book, previously a coaching house. Atmosphere top class. Written 7 August 2024

We popped in for a quick bite to eat, before going to a wedding and we were looked after, so well. The food was delicious and fresh. We will definitely be visiting again and will bring out mum with us too, as she hates missing out.. Highly recommended. Thanks again.

This is one of the oddest cafes I have been in - a really funny light adorned the room, courtesy of the fake sky roof lights. Kind of cool to be honest, but not sure it suits a cafe. We got toasties, mine cheese, my mate's, chicken tikka. I had a roll on links too. The toasty, also, was the oddest I've had as the bread seemed toasted on the outside base but was super soft all over, maybe due to the copious amounts of mayo, then cheese, added to the top which wasn't quite grilled enough was what made it soft and soggy. The cheese itself tasted nice but there was way too much of it, and way too much mayo underneath making the bread wet. I want a toasty to have a crunch to it! My mates was no better. And at £5.50 per toasty, it's not cheap, so was expecting better. The roll on links didn't save the day either. Not much to say, low quality and overcooked. Sorry, but don't think I...

Wow absolutely lovely wee cafe bright, very clean and the Staff went above and beyond. They where so friendly and very welcoming. Portions are very big, cake selection to die for and food and coffee presentation beautiful. My daughter ordered a toastie but we were warned it pretty big and it was but staff kindly boxed what she couldn't eat to allow us to take it away. If your passing you must stop you will not be disappointed, we will definitely be back. Absolutely made our...
