Absolutely fantastic local. A place which feels like home. Fantastic owners in Gareth Kelly and Mikey Lennon who have surrounded themselves with top notch staff. The regulars are so friendly and all of them have my back. I need to mention that the food is fantastic. The kitchen staff work really hard and are constantly developing the menu. A wonderful place, full of people I'm proud to call my friends and blessed that this is my local. Well worth a visit.

Food was excellent and not your usual pub grub. Service was a bit slow considering the pub was very quite which lacked any atmosphere, however that could have been because we were dining mid afternoon. The only negative was the bar was not particularly warm which detracted from the excellent food.

Incredible, attention to detail, presentation, ingredients, flavours-modern Scottish, service. I tried lovely warm bread-brioche style with truffle-infused butter, cauliflower for starter and fish and chips. Will be back

Went there for lunch today it was dreadful 😫 the whole lot from start to finish thought at first I was in a mobile phone shop staff constantly on phones first course slightly warm soup piece of bread with some spread with no taste sent half back we were hungry that's why we eat half, second course my husband had a chicken pie overdone dry with one strip of carrot 🥕 small bowl of mashed potatoes wait for it scrappings of pastry on top with something that looked like gravy, I had salmon with fennel on the side not to bad don't know who is doing the cooking certainly not a professional chef could be the man on the phone leaning over the table in the kitchen, couldn't pay the bill quick enough to get out they did however take the cold soups of the bill ,we paid over£37 for the meal we will not be back ,have read some upstanding reviews staff must have wrote them owner wakeup there were 4 people for lunch we were...

We can't comment on the quality of the food as we didn't get any. Arrived at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon to be told the kitchen was closed for the staff to catch up. As we had came by bus and not many other options about we decided to have a couple of drinks and stay. At 4:10pm asked a member of staff behind the bar if the kitchen was open? She shouted out to someone we couldn't see if " the kitchen was open" ? The reply was , " who's askin' ? Her reply was " some guy? " Aye , ok then " was the invisible reply. We were handed a menu but decided to take our custom elsewhere. About 20 miles away in fact. Later on had a wee look at the claims they make on their website about the quality of food and the quality of the welcome. Even a Trump supporter wouldn't swallow such bare faced lies. Do Not Make An Effort To Visit...

No hesitation giving the Kings Arms full marks all round . The staff are very friendly and attentive. Best Guinness I've had in a long time. My son and I chose the tomato soup , for the starter. Was served with nice, warm, Ciabetta bread, both which were delicious. I chose the steak pie, which had fresh carrot and asparagus. Couldn't manage a sweet, as we were both stuffed to the brim. The quality of the whole meal, was second to none. I suspect the veg was locally sourced, as I could taste the freshness , which you don't have in other establishments. We were in the Kings Arms the night previously , for a couple of pints. Overall, excellent quality of food. Friendly staff, and a great pub. Hopefully, I'll return in the not too...
