I popped into Franklyn's with my mum, midweek, for an impromptu lunch. There is a 2 course deal lunch menu, but as I'm a vegan, I had to order a la carte. I chose vegetable fajitas without sour cream or cheese. My mum had steak pie and a dessert. Lisa served us. She is friendly and quick. A couple were sat nearby with a toddler who had lots of food allergies. The mum was struggling with what to order her child. Lisa asked about her allergies then got the chef to come from the kitchen to discuss what he could specially make for her. Such amazing service to go to those lengths! When my food came, there was so much of it! I think there was 4 large tortilla wraps and a big sizzling pan of freshly cooked Mediterranean vegetables, not too spicy, as I'd asked. My friend who has difficulty in walking had to go to the bookies next door. Please put a sign up to let people know. Franklyns would benefit with a toilet in the restaurant downstairs.
