I have a dairy allergy and intolerant to eggs. We were recommend the take away by campsite staff. Our pitch was a fair walk away and when we arrived it was burger night. As normal we asked about was okay to have on the menu bare in mind there was a vegan option listed on the menu. Were told that they couldn't accommodate from the takeaway but did recommend the restaurant. Which is over 500m away and as a disabled person was just too far. They did say they could ask a campsite member of staff to take us up. But honestly I wanted a takeaway and chill. Ended up making dinner for ourselves.
Disappointed after being hyped up by staff. I can't say what the food is like and wasn't offered anything to eat.
Would be better with a board advising that allergies cannot be safely catered for and that vegan options cannot be guaranteed vegan due to cross...
