Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

Been a regular since it’s opened, service and product availability has really went downhill. Two weekends in a row I have been in approx 10AM and there has been no bacon or sausages for rolls or baguettes. How can a breakfast staple run out? Went elsewhere both times, and now use McDonalds or Starbucks before considering the store.

I’ve been here a few times since it opened, the first couple times was a bit of a let down, usual Greggs food and drink but service was poor, new staff that didn’t know how things worked.

Thought I’d give it a try again before writing a review, was in today and served by Aiden, what a breath of fresh air, very engaging and knowledgeable, was a breeze being served.

Realise there are always teething problems opening new premises, and hopefully this is how service will be going forward.

I absolutely love going to our local Gregg's bakers. The service from two of the guys there is beyond what you'd expect from a bakery. They are so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely interested in their customers. It's the kind of service you'd expect from a fancy restaurant or hotel. These two guys truly make my morning every time I go in. It's brilliant to see staff members putting in the effort and enjoying their work.

The food is great, especially when you're in a hurry. Hot, delicious, and convenient – it’s perfect for a quick meal. Gregg's has really set the bar high with their service and food quality. Highly recommend!

Was in at 10:30AM 16/12/2023 and there was no hot food available. This was only explained to us when we picked the order up off the counter and asked why it was freezing cold. The guy serving had an absolutely terrible attitude and zero service skills. He pointed me in the direction of a dirty little microwave in the corner of the shop where I could heat food up myself so we just left the order on the counter and left. Don't waste your time or money in Greggs. There are plenty local bakers that will treat you better and serve you...
