From the outside, looks nice, but nothing special. this all changes the second you enter, spotless and welcoming. It was like arriving at your favourite aunties for dinner and that this aunty, not only is a fantastic cook and the best hostess you have ever met. The staff are fantastic, welcoming, friendly, attentive and go that extra mile to make sure you feel wanted and special. The food, two of us got the steak pie, tow got the scampi. Came with platters of fresh potatoes, chips and vegetables. I had the steak pie, it was the best I have ever had, large portion, melt in your mouth, crispy but not hard crust. The sweats, we had the ice cream and snowball, again, fantastic.

So, clean/spotless, welcoming, friendly, fantastic food and your looked after like one of the family, added to value for money was just the icing on the cake.

I am an American and on my last day in Scotland, my party and I wound up at Harrington's by complete chance, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience we received. The staff was so friendly and treated us like we were visiting rock stars, and the food was SO GOOD. The meal felt like a high quality homemade meal, and I loved how they put a bunch of sides on the table (complimentary with the meal) and that they would replenish them if they ran low. The prices were insanely good for the quality and quantity of food received, and it came with dessert.

It seems super unlikely that a tourist would wind up stopping by here, but we'll absolutely make it a point to come by Harringtons the next time we're...

There was a large group of us to celebrate our Nana’s 90th birthday. The food was amazing, big portions and offered more veg/chips/ potatoes if we needed them but we didn’t as there was plenty there. The staff were so much fun, and super helpful too. We did not want for anything. Due to size of party we were in split tables so we ended up seat swapping throughout the meal but this did not phase the staff at all. Every one of the staff were amazing.
