Heaven Scent Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Scotland

Awesome. Visited here last Thursday with my cousin and only stopped in for coffee until we seen the menu. We ordered from the brunch section and honestly was just out of this world. I eat out a lot and this place is a little hidden gem for sure. My new favourite for breakfast but that's only because ive not worked my way through to the lunch section. Coffee was lovely and then came the cakes. I ordered carrot cake, i actually wasn't sure what it was as it looked like white chocolate on the top but it was definitely carrot cake the icing topping was so smooth and the cake soft this is by far the best carrot cake ive ever had. My cousin had the lemon tart which i sampled and this was just stunning. The staff are so nice and what topped everything off was when i paid the girl told me to take a little piece of paper out the jar when i opened it outside it said ' you are one in a million ' i actually had a tear in my eye. Ive had a lot going on lately and had not seen my cousin in a while so to get that little note after such an amazing brunch just melted my heart and i smiled all day. An Absolute Treat - will become a Family Favorite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited this gem with my husband and little one, and we are absolutely obsessed! This place will quickly become our go-to spot for exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere. We tried their special today! chorizo with hot sriracha honey, fried egg, and spring onions and WOW! The combination of flavors was incredible. The sweet heat from the sriracha honey paired perfectly with the savory chorizo, while the perfectly cooked egg brought everything together. Even my usually picky husband was so engrossed in his meal that he nearly finished it before I could snap a photo! The quality of ingredients really shines through, and you can tell everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and accommodating with our little one, making it a stress-free family dining experience. This is what a neighborhood coffee shop should be - amazing food, reasonable prices, and a warm atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Went in on the off chance that there was a spare seat. Was seated and told that they’d need the table back at 12:15 which was plenty time as I was on my own.

Given a menu and then waited on being served. After a while, during which the original server passed me several times, two further people were seated. One got a drink and the couple that were seated next to me were served and asked for their order straight away. I decided to leave, they clearly don’t need my customer. Only the was I approached and asked if was ready for my order to be taken. Errrm, bit late to be asking that if you’re customer is walking out the door.

I have eaten here before, several times so am aware of the speed of service at times. But in this case it’s not acceptable to serve two people infront of someone who’s been waiting a while. And then only bother with them when they’re choosing to leave.

I was asked if I wanted something to take away, which I’m like why would I spend my money in a place that didn’t want my custom in the first place.

So sad that all I wanted was a quick lunch and instead of that I’ve grabbed a meal deal from the local...
