House of India Hamilton — Restaurant in Scotland

Ordered a pizza and was told 45 mins for delivery...fair enough it's a Friday night...nearly 2 hours later and it still wasn't here...2 phone calls to the shop to see where it was and was hung up on...when it finally did arrive they tried to charge me for it AGAIN!!! Finally I had to put it in my oven to heat it up again. This place used to be quite good but recently has been a shambles...That's it House of India, you have had your last chance, I will NEVER BE USING...

Delivery driver held the buzzer down until I answered and then threw the bag of food in my face. Never seen anything like it. Completely inappropriate as I had a young child asleep while he buzzed incessantly

Phoned them to ask if it was one of their own drivers and they confirmed it was.

Only asked so I’d know not to order from them again.

Ordered a large chicken pakora. Looked like we were given the scraps from the frier.

Remembered why I stopped using them. Worst hoagie in town. Cold wrap instead of a chapatti with handful of chips and covered in dry cold mince topped with some salad. There may have been some cheese but I couldn’t find it. Also smallest, didn’t even fill the bottom half of the box. This used to be the best but not any longer. Gave them 2 stars only because my husbands kebab was a bit bitter. Definitely be using the Manzil in future....
