OK so my review is based on “total experience” because to be honest they totally let themselves down due to waiting time. If you are really busy, why not tell customers (for takeaway) that the wait will be long. But no, rather than that just leave us sitting for 1hour 10minutes , no joke. If it wasn’t for the fact we’d driven 10miles to get there I would have bailed after half an hour. But thinking “can’t be long now” just became a joke. No offer from manager of even a coke or something from the bar whilst we waited. But actually restaurant wasn’t even full (they were prioritising sitting diners) and only about half a dozen other takeaway went out in the time we sat. We had the meal deal for two so not like we’d asked for anything crazy. Was it worth the wait…not really. 4pcs of pakora was a bit mean. Mixed kebabs good. Had a meal there last night with a a group of ten friends. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Our waiter sorted us out with a sort of set menu where we got a mixed starter, main of choice and plenty of rice and naan breads for the table. Food was great with no complaints or faults found by any of our group. Cost was reasonable at about £25 a head including our drinks. Most people had 2-3 beers and the drivers had 2-3 sort drinks. Working in the area and came here with two colleagues for dinner. I ordered the mixed kurma with rice and chips. Never in my life have I had a kurma come with sprinkles and bananas in it. No where on the menu did it say it would come with sprinkles or bananas. I’m not from round here so I don’t know if that’s normal but I won’t be having it again.
