I’ve had 2 afternoon tea boxes from Jeanie’s and they are absolutely delicious. They make everything from scratch on site (excluding one cranberry slice) and it’s such a great value box. The empire biscuits are the best you’ll ever taste. There’s also a wide range of cakes and treats to choose from - all fresh and delicious. There’s space to eat inside - plenty of room for social distancing! The shop is named after the owner’s late granny Jeanie, which is lovely. I am thrilled that this is so close, and that it’s run by locals - exactly the kind of business we should be supporting. I’ve booked to come in for one of their afternoon tea days in July, so I will be back!

Can’t believe this has been on my doorstep for so long and I have never tried it! I’m coeliac so it was great to see the measures taken to avoid cross contamination and variety of GF cakes too. Staff so lovely and knowledgeable! Thanks again, I’ll be back soon 😊

First time at Jeanie's coffee shop, recommended by my sister, good menu to choose from but had the breakfast was brilliant, Owner's John and Stephen very welcoming and pleasant, if anyone is in the area go in and give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Found on Google and stopped off for a cuppa because it was close to the M8/M74 motorways, and what wonderful place! Named after the owner's gran and he has some lovely pictures of her in the cafe.ā™„ļø

Easy to get parked and has a Tesco with an ATM below it if you need a few things. There's a lift up to the cafe on the first floor and a lovely gift shop next door. Its not dog friendly but you can get takeaway if need be.

Was nearly closing and very busy with locals (always a good sign) but we were warmly welcomed and fitted in. Had such a friendly atmosphere with music and the owners singing away.

Choice of homemade cakes was fantastic and they were delicious. The hot chocolate our daughter had was like a trifle with marshmallows, cream and chocolate sauce!

Sandwiches and other food looked and smelled great too so we will definitely be back for lunch now we've found you.

Almost didn't want to share a review so we could keep you as our special secret but this cafe is too good to hide way.

See you...

Excellent cafe, would highly recommend. Unassuming but great service and atmosphere. The staff and friendly and welcoming. Food was good with an extensive menu and very reasonably priced. I had a few hours waiting for my car to be serviced and they gave me a free coffee which was amazing! The pastries and cakes are home baked and lovely. Would find an excuse to...
