Kantipur Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

Had a itison voucher,we had a table booked for 6 pm ,on the voucher it stated that the table would be available up to 5.30 pm on a Friday. To be honest I never noticed that however when I booked the night before stated what time we wanted and we would be using The Voucher, when we arrived spot on six pm the restaurant was far from Busy however the manager went into a Rant and told me they shouldn't accept my booking as it was 6 pm after some deliberation during which I mentioned they had accepted the booking and I had Clearly stated it was a voucher he said okay this time but not ever again. I felt quite belittled by his attitude and quite honestly it spoiled the evening for both my wife and me. It was a birthday gift so we had out meal and left. Just ate our first meal ordered from kantipur. It was bloomin' yummy! We had mixed pakora (including fish pakora!!) Which was fresh and lovely. Chicken tikka chasni. Perfectly cooked in a terrific sauce with a huge garlic naan bread and pilau rice. Portion sizes were very generous and we were given the option of complimentary poppadoms and spiced onions which we gratefully accepted😁 The poppadoms were also freshly cooked and crunchy. The member of staff who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful as was the delivery driver. The food was delivered promptly. Great experience, couldn't ask for better.
