Wow! Views, architecture, service and coffee all outstanding. The sign on the side of the road advertising a place to get coffee ahead was quickly dismissed as being a good idea. Luckily I was able to catch a quick glimpse of the place before the entrance to their parking lot. A quality setup in a converted shipping container was enough for me to make an overly aggressive hard right into the lot. This place was an unexpected jewel. You can see the beauty of the place in the pictures, I can’t say more. But the friendliness of the owners and everyone who worked there was only matched by the quality of their coffee. Based those 2 qualities alone this would be a great place even if it sat a top a garbage dump. Add the very tasty baked goods, the views and the design of the buildings and grounds and you have a place that will never be forgotten. I even bought a mug.

Love love love this place! 2nd time to Isle of Skye and they've recently opened in Sep 2021! This was the last place we visited before leaving the Highlands, and this made our experience even better! Food: Deliciously hand made! Please try the cinnamon roll, I'm usually not a fan of it but this place had set the expectation for me. Every dish we ordered was emptied by our belly! Place: Super cool decor, inside a brick house without the windows and door coupled with minimal furniture just enough for a meal. The business is ran by a gorgeous couple. It taught me that life doesn't have to be perfect! You can still enjoy the moment despite it being incomplete. This place is highly recommended!

We stopped by Lean to Coffee on our way out of Isle of Skye. There are no toilets and all seating is outdoors (but heated). We got mochas which was delicious. We also tried the full hat (venison salami) and barefooters (mushroom) toastie, which are served after 9:30 AM. These toasties were fresh, warm, and gooey. We enjoyed both flavors. They had 4 pastries available when we visited - vanilla cream cheese bun, blueberry muffin, strawberry cardamom bun, and cinnamon roll. We tried all 4 - they were all delicious but my favorite was actually the blueberry muffin. This is a great stop for coffee, toasties, and pastries while in Isle of Skye.

I must say I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by what my partner paid for a hot chocolate this morning - £3.80 for the hot chocolate that is the size of my partner’s thumb (see image). It wasn’t known to me that my partner had paid this much until he saw me drinking it as we drove 6 minutes down the road (wasn’t worth turning round for, as we knew we could resort to this review). I genuinely thought it would be £1 at a push! It is with expectation that the cafe refund us after seeing this review but from what we have seen this morning it seems they only care about one thing; money and hence it is unlikely that will occur! I would NOT recommend visiting this cafe as it is vastly overpriced… a...
