Breakish Bay Pods — Hotel in Skye

Could not recommend these pods more. They were clean and cosy, the bed super comfortable, we stayed in November and when we arrived they had already turned the heating on making it super cosy for us arriving at night. They had stuff to make coffee which was an absolute delight to find. The shower had good pressure and could adjust temperature. The views were absolutely breathtaking on the patio outside which also had seats for us to drink our coffee on in the morning. The WiFi and tv worked really well too which is a bonus as our signals weren’t great for 4G. Although you’re situated on someone’s property in no way do you feel like you’re in someone’s garden. With a good distance from their house. There was private parking which took any worry away from where to leave the car. A little gem! A perfect setting for that "get away from it all" feeling. The pods (2 of) are small but perfectly formed and equipped with all you need (even identical hairdryer to mine which confused me because I'd not unpacked mine and there it was on the shelf!! 😀). Fridge, microwave, toaster, cleaning and washing up equipment, bedding and ample towels,complimentary milk,tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Great shower room given the space allowed. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable throughout the entire pod. Angus was available to chat and answer any questions we had and to recommend eating places and visitor attractions. Skye itself is simply beautiful 😍 highly recommend this accommodation and a tour round the island is a must....

Piccoli bungalow che il proprietario ha ricavato nel retro di casa sua, in una buona posizione, vicino Broadford, dove si trovano supermercato, benzinaio, ristoranti. Sono piccoli ma rifiniti alla perfezione, in poco spazio è stato inserito tutto il necessario. Pulitissimo. È presente un buon Wi-Fi, filtro dell'aria, riscaldamento, deumidificatore, phon, TV. Il cucinotto ha tutto quello che indica in descrizione, quindi microonde, tostapane, bollitore. Trovate inoltre sale, pepe, olio, caffè, zucchero, strofinaccio, scottex, sapone e spugna, piatti, tazze, posate... Insomma tutto quello che serve. Bello l'affaccio esterno, con delle sedute per goderselo, se il tempo lo permette. Ci sono anche una serie di suggerimenti per le attività in zona. Si accede con chiave in autonomia, il proprietario non lo abbiamo visto ma è stato super disponibile via messaggi.

NOTE NEGATIVE Manca uno spazio per riporre vestiti e bagagli, il divano occupa troppo spazio ed è poco utile alla fine, sarebbe meglio una poltroncina e un armadietto. Il letto è piccolo per 2 persone, una piazza e mezzo. In bagno è tutto piccolo, lavabo e doccia davvero al limite. Bisogna lasciare la porta del bagno aperta di notte, altrimenti al mattino trovate il pavimento bagnato per l'umidità. Se avete tanti bagagli è scomodo arrivare dai parcheggi davanti ai bungalow dietro, si passa su prato allo scoperto, se piove può essere...
