What can I say ? I'm a 63 yo guy who visited today around 12.45 with my family whilst returning home to Falkirk from Berwick and felt totally embarrassed at the bullying tactics of your female "Greeter". She refused to let us in until we filled out the "track and trace" by using the QR code that was on the outside of the window beside the door. This was despite your tannoy announcements stating that they could be filled out whilst sitting at your table. We were also told that to gain admittance into the restaurant we had to return to the car to get our face masks. Whilst showing us to our table she rattled off instructions as to the ordering process very abrupty, definately not what you would expect from a "greeter". Even my 11yo daughter passed comment regarding her attitude. We paid attention and she reacted in exactly the same manner to all customers. We left after our meal feeling slightly humiliated with the whole experience. d recommend McDonalds at Dunbar. FURTHER REVIEW 25/06/23 - From ordering at drive thru until paying took 10 mins and a further minute to recieve the food at the window. By the time i recived it the chips were cold and the double cheeseburger not much warmer. Read moreVery slow service today. We first joined the drive through but after nearly 10 min we had not moved anywhere. Luckily as we were at the end of the que with 1 car behind I could get out of my car and ask them to reverse so we could get out of the que as there is no other way to get out than to wait. They were only taking orders in 1 lane even if there is 2 lanes. We decided to go in, in the hope that it was gonna be faster. I completed our order at 12.28 and we did not get our order until 12.58. We had order me 029 which kept disappearing off the collection screen so I had to ask a member of staff what had happened to our order and was told it's in a systematic que and it would come when it's ready. With 2 hungry kids that had been swimming we wanted fast food. Not so fast today I'm afraid.!!!!! Felt sorry for the staff as they could have been twice as many staff but probably still not enough...... There was a huge sign for staff wanted at the collection point. Maybe senior management should hurry up in getting more staff before they loose some of the very hard working staff...
