We had booked a BBQ for my son's stag do. There did not appear to be any BBQ up and running when we got there. There were dried out burgers and chicken in a bain Marie sitting on a counter with some potato salad (which was quite tasty tbf) dry rolls and some sliced tomatoes and sliced cheese. There was no real service, no atmosphere as we were seated in a cold empty conservatory thing with no music or anything. Not many of us actually ate much of the food so would not recommend and would definitely not go back or book anything with Nae Limits again based on their poor response to me raising this with them. I had also advised them in advance that we had a veggie with us whom they hadn't catered for. Thanks Nae Limits for the reply, however, it's not accurate that all the plates were empty, although I think that your lovely dogs may have eaten more of the food than we did. I must also mention that the other activities arranged were great and we did have a good time it was only the food that was...

Had a latte and a flat white. both excellent very good flavour and presentation, flat served in a thick glass lovely. Had Panini brie with extra bacon and Nae Limit brekkie very good full of flavour very tasty. Panini had a good amount of brie , chilli jam and rocket. On the side there was coleslaw and Rocket with balsamic creme, very tasty.the Brekkie a revelation excellent baked beans not Heinz was so good flavoursome, the sausages and black pudding was both very good in taste. 2 slices of very good home made bread cherry tomatoes grilled nicely and the egg cooked still runny bacon was very crispy great for spooning up the beans. All at a very reasonable price and a nice area for sitting with a warm log fire in the corner. P.S. The cakes, tray bakes are home made and we had to try a few just to be sure we will update when we have eaten...
Read moreDriving up to Queen's view and remembered that they have shut down their cafe so swung off at the last minute for the Nae Limits sign, prices looked reasonable so we went in. I had the full breakfast, hold the egg, with home made baked beans, local bacon, sausage, black pudding, grilled tomatoes and mushroom and the beans were worth the money alone but everything else tasted top tier. My wife had Eggs Benedict but this was no ordinary Benedict as the muffin was replaced with potato rosti and the hollandaise mayo replaced with sriracha mayo, my wife doesn't like hot sauce but this sounded so tempting, and it was all so good that she cleared the plate, two rosti and two eggs with greens. The coffee is excellent as well as the food and all for under £30. Best value outwith the pub chains but about ten times better than any pub grub. Almost worth a 2 hour drive just...
