Pop Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

Went to try this place as it seemed to have a lot of good reviews about it have not been into the Pop in years, it's very dark inside with wobbly tables with beer matt's wedged underneath to steady them also had to keep changing seats, it can also get a little noisy when there is a lot of people in, once I got my meal the Haddock was dried out no moisture whatsoever the chips tasted like cardboard also a bit raw got a replacement meal instead which was the Seabass it was full of bones also the skin was still underneath and slimy, it was loaded with a Tomato Salsa on top with salad which was one huge mess, I won't be back the meal was terrible it seems it doesn't live up to the...

My fiance and I wanted some lunch before collecting our boy from nursery but the food took quite a while to make so we had to leave with it as a takeaway because we wouldn't have eat it quickly enough. I had Highlander pizza and the misses had tempura chicken meal. Pizza was freshly made, hense the time to make it, but very tasty, just lacked a bit of crust. The chicken was tender and the batter was light and crispy. Chips were good but was missing some salt, that's out fault coz we never had any. Overall, definitely satisfied with the food. I have came here for many years with family any birthdays or celebrations we came here for a meal. Recently standards seem to be slipping the last two times I’ve came there’s something wrong with my order and I make sure to say my order as clear as anything yet it still doesn’t come right? I ordered the chicken breast in curry sauce and sure as god it came smothered in BBQ sauce I waited a while as well and by this point I had no time to change it as I had to go get the kids from school safe to say I really didn’t enjoy it one bit.
