Silver Star — Restaurant in Scotland

9 of us ordered lunch. One curry was too mild. The gentleman left most of it on the plate as he said to me it was tasteless. 3 people ordered sweet and sour chicken which was also rather tasteless. The chicken was dry and hard. For my self I could hardly cut it with my knife. Being in the Hotel trade myself my opinion is it may have been cooked, frozen and used when needed. Horrid, paid for a set meal for 3, ribs were fine but a bit dry, no sauce. Chips were vile, think they had been cooked last week and warmed up ever so slightly, chewy and disgusting. The sweet and sour chicken had a very strange chemical taste, a very small portion too, pork was rancid, grey strips of plastic that tasted of nowt. Chicken and cashew had never been near to a chicken. Prawn crackers were fine. If we hadn't driven 3 miles, opened it all up and plated it we would have taken it back, biggest waste of £37 quid....

Ok just dined here this evening where do I start.... decor was a little tired and outdated, we were given menus very quickly and even got asked if we're ready to order after having menus oh for at least a minute! To be honest we won't go here again . Food was mediocre I am afraid.it wasn't the best .... it seemed to be busy with carry out may I suggest that's what they should ...
